www.moenus-krantz.com On September 14, 1882, a company for the production of bobbins for yarn winding is established in Aachen by the engineer Hermann Krantz.

At that time Krantz machines are used in all big German wool scouring and combing plants and are worldwide used in varied applications. Dyeing and bleaching machines soon increase the range of products.
In the course of the 50ies the first nozzle-ventilated stentering frames for drying and fixation of textiles are successfully produced. The Krantz centrifugal hydroextractors with gliding support conquer the world market. The nozzle-type single-layer stenter and the high-capacity multitier tenter frame with nozzle ventilation achieve worldwide interest on the international textile machine exhibitions. More than 400 patents are developed. The Krantz drying technology has become an indispensable part of efficient textile production in more than 100 countries. With the brand Moenus Krantz the Moenus Textilmaschinen GmbH Gera offers recognized technologies for the field of drying technology and finishing.

The brand Moenus Krantz also includes the complete program of the Müller machines for surface finishing. Already in 1856 simple raising machines are produced by Franz Müller in a small workshop in Mönchengladbach. The first patent for a 12-roller raising machine was already made out in 1887. Soon further improvements were added. At that time as also today Müller finishing machines are the perfect example for quality and reliability.
