The first Artos high-capacity nozzle dryers are installed into existing stenters. Then complete stentering and drying frames are included in the production program. The Artos float-dryer is an important invention by Meier-Windhorst accelerating the expansion of the young company. At the end of the 50ies Artos is already the biggest manufacturer of textile finishing machines in the world. From now on wet-finishing is included into the program and it is perfected more and more. The Artos research deals with extensive improvements of integral production processes and achieves international successes. Many processes, which are today the basis for modern textile finishing, are based on these results. Until today Artos machines are used in various production processes and are permanently improved.

In the course of the company history worldwide known brands, eg. Famatex and Haas are integrated into the company. Later the company group found further growth potentials in the Babcock AG. Within the course of the new orientation of the group the BTM (Babcock Textilmaschinen) became independent again. From this development the Moenus Textilmaschinen GmbH emerged with the brand Moenus Artos, which is rich in tradition. Here we have come to full circle and with view to the future the brand Artos can now orientate itself to its core competences. As a result the customer gets guaranteed and constant usual quality together with the safety of a solid network of services around the product.
